Sanger is located about 20 minutes south east of Fresno, near the Kings River. Sanger´s close proximity to the Kings River, Pine Flat Reservoir and scenic Kings Canyon and Sequoia National parks, makes it an ideal location to live and still be close to those getaway weekends to the sierras.

The city of Sanger continues to maintain its small town atmosphere while offering large city conveniences. The city has experienced a building boom over the last five years. Sanger real estate and homes continue to be more affordable than comparable properties in larger neighboring cities. Sanger´s current and proposed residential construction will provide about 4,800 additional homes over the next five years. This will increase the quantities of single family homes by about 85%.

With this boom, there has been a diversification of industry and economy. While agriculture is the predominate industry, businesses which engage in fabrication of parts and machinery, corrugated paper products, electronic cable and plastic products are relocated to the Sanger area. The Kings River Technology Park now borders the southeast border of the city. Commercial parcels vary from 2 to 15 acres.
